With this diet, choosing 80% of your foods from the Alkaline food group and 20% from the Acidic food group you should be drinking a lot of oxygenated alkaline Lemon water or Lime Water (The lemon or lime will naturally and safely alkalize the water for you).

The new theories are that disease cannot exist in an alkaline or perfectly ph’d environment, including chronic diseases and cancer. Our organic skin care over at ESP Botanicals is based on a perfect pH.

Can Change of Diet Correct all Diseases?
The Importance of pH Balance in Maintaining Health

Your entire body needs an alkaline environment

Why Change your Diet?
In order to accomplish all the many millions of complex functions that occur over the course of the day, your body has to be able to communicate with itself all the way down to the cellular level. And do you know how it does this? Through pulses of electricity. That’s right, electricity.

Your body operates on an electromagnetic current. Believe it or not, all of the organs in your body emit these fields of electrical current. In fact, never signals are nothing more than electrical charges.

What creates these electrical power in your body is a very fine balance that exists in your biochemistry. And of all the systems in your body that depend on this delicate, bio chemical balance, on of the most important is your blood stream. This is where pH come into play. But what is pH?

WHAT PH IS AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO ALL YOUR BODY FUNCTIONS

PH is a scale that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is. The scale ranges from 1 to 14 with 1 being very acid, 7 neutral and 14 very alkaline.

So what does pH have to do with you and your blood? Well, the pH of your blood is extremely important. The ideal pH level for your blood is right around 7.35 and your body goes to enormous lengths to maintain this level.

Why? Because if your blood pH were to vary 1 or 2 points in either direction, it would change the electrical chemistry in your body, there would be no electrical power and in short order you would die.

In short order you would drop dead. As you can see, maintaining the right pH level is your blood is pretty important!

With this in mind a good way to avoid upsetting this delicate bio chemical balance would be to take a look at those things that can compromise the maintenance of the ideal pH level in your body. And what is the main culprit in this case? The answer is the creating of acid in your body.

Our bodies simply can not fight disease if our body pH balance is compromised. It have been determined that an alkaline body is more conducive to health and well-being than an acidic one. An undesirable pH can lead to a variety of negative health, effects. A body that tends toward acidity heightens the risk for infections from bacteria, yeast, parasites, and viruses. All of these seek out and thrive in an acid environment. Not only are you more susceptible to infections such as colds and the flu but also degenerative diseases like cancer, arthritis, heart disease and osteoporosis are promoted if your pH is consistently acid.

Furthermore, populations of bacteria, fungi, etc. may be thriving throughout your body without causing acute disease, yet producing copious acid waste products. These stealth infections may underlie a variety of degenerative conditions.

How to Test Your pH
To perform this simple test, all you need is a roll of testing pH paper (0preferably pHydrion test paper), a plastic spoon and some fresh saliva. The pH strips with a range of 6.0-8.0 pH are best for people who want to test their saliva. This range is where most healthy people, who are working at becoming alkaline, will find their salivary pH. The test uses a pH-sensitive, color-coded test strip to reveal your body pH balance status. For the saliva test: – Be sure not to eat, drink, or brush your teeth for 30 minutes prior to the test—swallow a couple of times to clear the mouth and stimulate new saliva – Then discharge some saliva into a PLASTIC spoon (it is recommended NOT to touch the pH paper to your tongue due to the chemicals in the paper.) Tear off a one inch strip of pH paper, place into saliva and compare the color of your immersed pH paper with the color chart provided on the pH testing roll.

The lower your pH value below 7.0 the greater your degree of acid stress. Continue testing and recording your pH for a few weeks—first thing in the morning, afternoon and at bedtime. (This will show your body pH trend). While pH for saliva is above 7 pH. A reading consistently lower than 6.8 is indicative of possible insufficient alkaline reserves. After eating, the saliva pH should rise to 7.6 or higher. Unless this occurs, the body has alkaline mineral deficiencies (mainly Calcium and Magnesium).

STEPS YOU CAN IMMEDIATELY TAKE TO IMPROVE pH

Your entire body needs an alkaline environment!
The primary cause of acidic condition in your body is from what you put in your mouth. In other words, what you eat and what you drink. And it isn’t how “acid” something may seem when you eat or drink it. It has to do with what is left over when you digest it.

Unfortunately, a lot of the tings most people put in their mouths create an acid ash. These include alcohol, coffee and a lot of flesh protein in your diet. Interestingly enough, stress also tends to create an acid condition in the body.

Fortunately, it is pretty easy to immediately change your pH for the better and make it more alkaline. The first step is to understand which of the foods you are eating and the drinks you are drinking are acid and which are alkaline. Then its simply a matter of eliminating some of the more acid foods you are eating and adding in more alkaline foods.
