As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Avoid contact with eyes.

NOTE on MOISTURIZER USE: Our Sulfur Soap is made with added moisturizers and Aloe, and at 4% is mild enough that if used correctly for the recommended period of time no burning should occur. However you may use additional moisturizers if you so desire.

In case of contact with the eyes, flush with clean running water for 15 minutes. Because one of the primary goals of sulfur soap is to slough away old skin cells, the soap may have a drying effect (which is why we have added moisturizers to help the underlying new skin maintain a proper moisture level. However, in spite of this it is a good idea to start slowly and see how the skin reacts to this product.

The idea of using sulfur as a treatment for skin problems is not a new one. Sulfur has been used to treat skin conditions for more than two centuries. Skin conditions that have responded to sulfur treatments include eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections and scabies mite infestation. We have added moisturizing pure organic oils to offset the drying of sulfur.

WARNINGS: People who take anticoagulant medications should consult their doctor before using sulfur soap. Other side effects may include skin redness and burning.

  • ESP Botanicals Sulfur Soap is only 4% sulfur and we do not recommend masquing with it.
  • If left on skin too long or if too high a percentage of sulfur is used it will burn the skin.
  • It should never be taken internally.
  • Sulfur soap should never be used on skin that is already chapped or sunburned.
  • Anyone on anticoagulants should never use Sulfur Soap without consulting a physician first.
  • It is advisable to always use a safe moisturizer after using sulfur soap.
  • Do not use alcohol based or chemical based moisturizers.

ESP Botanicals SULFUR SOAP is different from our other soaps because it is NOT to be left on the skin. Instead Sulfur soap is used in much the same way as regular bar soap. It is placed under warm running water, worked into a lather and then applied to wet skin and then rinsed off well.
Start using this soap one time a day, if no problems go to 2 times a day.
